... these are a few of my favorite images by julius shulman, the much celebrated architectural photographer who had sadly passed away today at age 98. julius photographed the work of virtually every modern architect since the 1930s. recently, i had the chance to see the 2008 documentary visual acoustics: the modernism of julius shulman at moca as part of the dwell on design events. it made me appreciate his work, his eye for photography, his philosophy, and his humor more than i could ever imagine.
